How the calculator works
Full YPP progress requires 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 valid public watch hours in 12 months or 10 million valid public Shorts views in 90 days.
Earlier access to selected fan-funding features in eligible regions uses 500 subscribers, three public uploads in 90 days, and either 3,000 watch hours or 3 million Shorts views.

Can I combine watch hours and Shorts views?+
They are alternative content paths, not values that are added together. You must satisfy either complete path plus its subscriber requirement.
What counts as valid watch hours?+
Use the valid public watch-hours value shown in YouTube Studio Earn; private, unlisted, deleted, and Shorts Feed watch time may be excluded.
